Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is considering endorsing his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to be co-chairperson of the Republican National Committee in the aftermath of Ronna McDaniel’s departure, The New York Times reported Monday.
Lara Trump is the wife of Eric Trump, Donald Trump’s second son.
Trump’s outright pick to replace McDaniel at first was North Carolina Republican Party Chair Michael Whatley, it was reported last week when news surfaced that McDaniel informed Donald Trump of her decision to step down soon after South Carolina’s Feb. 24 primary.
