Progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on Tuesday morning responded to criticism from Donald Trump by accusing the president of “illegally bombing Iran.”

Trump, who ordered the U.S. military to “obliterate” Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities during the weekend, took to social media Tuesday morning to rip Ocasio-Cortez for saying the president should be impeached for his actions.

“Mr. President, don’t take your anger out on me – I’m just a silly girl,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on X an hour after Trump posted his comments.
