Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani is gaining ground on former Gov. Andrew Cuomo ahead of Tuesday’s New York City mayoral primary, according to a new poll.

An Emerson College Polling/PIX 11/The Hill survey has Cuomo leading with 35% and Mamdani in second at 32%.

Mamdani has gained 10 points since last month’s Emerson poll, where he polled at 22%. Cuomo has gained one point from 34% to 35% over the same period.
