Actor Frank Stallone, appearing Tuesday on Newsmax, applauded President Donald Trump’s call for a 100% tariff on movies shot outside the U.S.
“I think it’s good for the actors. I think it’s good for everyone involved,” he said on “National Report.” “And the people that are complaining probably have ulterior motives.”
The actor noted that while California has for years been the focal point of movie and television production, there are plenty of other locations throughout the U.S. that work well to host entertainment productions.
