On Sunday, Sen. John Barrasso voiced strong support for Attorney General Pam Bondi amid growing conservative criticism over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, asserting that “America is safer with Pam Bondi as attorney general.”

The Wyoming Republican defended Bondi as she faces intense scrutiny from segments of the Republican base following the release of a Justice Department memo dismissing several conspiracy theories related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

“I do,” Barrasso said when asked during an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” if he had confidence in Bondi. “We ran to make this country safer and more prosperous. Pam Bondi and her team are getting hardened criminals off the streets,” he added.
