A poll of registered voters shows another drop in the number of people supporting the Democrat Party. The latest Harvard CAPS/Harris poll shows a decline in voter support, falling to 40%. That’s a 2% slide for Democrats compared with the group’s poll in June.

The poll’s disapproval rating for Democrats bumped up a corresponding amount to 60% in the current poll of registered voters compared with a 58% disapproval rating from June.

Republicans are showing 12 percentage points better with a 48% disapproval rating from voters in the poll. That’s a 4% improvement based on the 52% disapproval rating in the June poll.
