Former President Donald Trump said he will never call for restrictions on birth control.

“I have never, and will never advocate imposing restrictions on birth control, or other contraceptives,” Trump wrote Tuesday on Truth Social. “This is a Democrat fabricated lie, misinformation/disinformation, because they have nothing else to run on except failure, poverty, and death. I do not support a ban on birth control, and neither will the Republican Party.”

Trump’s post on Truth Social came after he told a TV station in Pittsburgh “we’re looking at that,” after being asked if he supports any restrictions to access to contraception.
